I have lived in Turnberry Place for almost a year and moving here is the one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. It is unsafe. Since Jan. 1, 2 people (that I know of) have been stood up at gunpoint and with a knife by men in the parking lot who demanded their money. One of them was a woman who had 2 small children with her. She stopped my fiance after the incident and asked him to wait with her until the police arrived. She was scared and crying. Management has yet to send a notice to the community letting them know of these incidents and to be on alert. This is typical as management is totally non-responsive to residents needs and complaints. Now this may change, as a new management company has just taken over, but I would not count on it.

They do not properly screen their residents and on New Year's Eve, it felt like I was in Iraq. There was shooting (not fireworks, guns) outside my window (for at least 2 hours). I am fearful of my life because there are true THUGS in my building who do not work and stand out side in the breezeways and sit on the stairs, smoking and drinking.

Please, take my advice, and do not move to this community. If you do, you'll be sorry.
