I moved in on 1-15-2009,I thought that these apartments would be the place of my dreams because of how they look on the outside. When they show you the model it is also nice. They would not let us see our apartment until after we signed our lease on the day we were scheduled to move in. It was HORRIBLE!!!! The carpet looked like it had been through a war zone, we needed many repairs, and there were cockroaches (ugh!)Please do not believe the 1 good review that they have received because whoever wrote it probably works there. I have been fighting with the management night and day about our situation and we have not received resolution. Please do not move here. SAVE YOURSELVES!! Don't let them tell you that the only complaints come from tenants who don't pay their rent because we always pay our rent on time and we are clean neat freaks in a NIGHTMARE!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that things are still a mess for the residents here. While I lived at the property they changes management twice and we too had an situation with carpeting. In our case, a maintenance worker damaged the carpet when the first manager was there, we reported it, but when the second manager took over, she stuck us with the responsibility for the mess he made. Do yourself a favor: Take pictures and contact Harbor Group Management immediately if you get no assistance from management. Don't let this go. We thought we would just deal with it before we moved and it cost us our deposit for a mess that wasn't our fault. Forewarned is forearmed. Im sorry you went through that. YOu have to live and learn. I put my comment on here to try and prevent someone from going through the drama. I moved to another apt instead of getting a home and that was my worst mistake. I promise that when my lease is up, I am getting the heck away from rentals period!!! We all need to get away from these apts because they suck you dry of all your hard earned money, give little or no respect to us as humans. I try to make sure the leasing office understands that just because we are renters does not mean we dont want a good quality of life.

Thanks for your supportive responses. It makes me feel good to know that there are kind, caring people out there. The management at Creekside Corners is still giving us the run around about our situation but we are preparing to seek legal action. Please keep us in your prayers because we are doing this for not just ourselves but for all the little people that get taken advantage of by big business.

I moved to Creekside Corners fresh from Detroit, and the only family I had in the area was unreliable-my ex husband. I too was unable to view my apartment until after signing my lease, and had little resolution to any problems. My 3yr old son and I were living alone for the first time and my alarm kept going off throughout the night the first two weeks we were there! Maintenance never fixed it, so I had plenty of sleepless nights. Also, management changed a couple of times, and the community had break-ins. A couple of teenagers were even caught having sex by the club house!!!I only had one experience with bugs...a freaking FLYING cockroach what seemed like the size of my hand flew into my apartment when I got home and openened the door. Once I sprayed the entrance to my doors it was ok (I guess that's the risk you take living so close to so many people that you have no idea of their living arrangements/cleanliness). I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
