I wrote the one titled highland hell back in Jan this yr. And let me tell you it has only gotten worse. I have made multiple complaints about my light switch making buzzing noise. No one fixed it... no one came to fix it of course. I called about the toilet no one came. Come to find out the very unprofessional office staff by day strippers by night staff didn't put the request in. Then in May the lights went out. NO, not just my apt the my entire building and the building next to it. We lost all out food that I had just bought.We found out that the lights were out because the meter box for GA power to read CAUGHT FIRE! Due to the fact the electrition for the complex wired them incorrectly. GA power refused to fix it until Miles Properties called a real electrition. GA power said if they hook it back up they entire building wold burn to the ground! They didn't offer me a damn thing until it was too late. 24hrs after the fact they offered to let me use a fridge in a empty apt. No not for me to stay in but my food that I no longer had because it spoiled. then the next day i was told we could use another apartment for the weekend. You know sleep eat shower and go type thing. Well I tried to sleep there but there so many roaches water bugs crickets rolly bugs and God only knows what else that I spent the whole night killing and fighting nature. After I had been getting the run around from the office staff. A week with no lights goes by and finally the office MGR offers to let me move into another unit at my expense of course. Come to find out that was her offer from the beginning. She was really nice and very helpful. She was the only positive about the office. How sad I am to say she was transferred. So now the attitudes the drama it's all back. SO I am moving! Hopefully my next choice will be better since I have a bit more time to find a new apt....The moral of this story is DON'T RENT ANYTHING MANAGED BY MILES PROPERTIES! THEY ALL THE SAME THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME AND TREAT YOU THE SAME! and oh yeah you should probably get a inspector to make sure you building is wired correctly and keep Dekalb county code enforcement number handy.

yes...the women in the leasing office do nothing to help you. When you call the office, you usually get placed on hold and no one returns and when you go in, they are rude and usually don't pay you any attention and are very nasty when you ask for help.
