Here s the truth! Heed the warnings! I have recently moved out. I was one month into my (reluctant) lease renewal when there was a shootout in apartment 1306. If you don t believe me, reference Dekalb County, GA Police incident report #07-156701. The shooting occurred on November 16th, 2007. So I can speak from fact in saying this was the worst living mistake I have ever made. The night of the shooting none of the management team, or courtesy officer responded. The detectives and Crime Scene investigators had to kick in the door to the adjacent apartment to see if there was anyone injured inside the unit. I am completely taken back that the management had not made residents aware of this crime or any of the other serious crimes. Crime was not my only issue with Wesley Kensington. I had a litany of service issues that stem back to day one. So, if you value your safety, security and piece of mind you ll think twice. I was going through a marital transition and had not lived in an apartment community in over ten years. However, I know bad service when I see it. I read all the ApartmentRating reviews also, and thought that these were just disgruntled residents. Well, rest assured that I was never late on any of my rent payments. So the management team can not dispute these words. In my opinion, if you are an educated professional you will NOT consider living in any Wesley Apartment community. Ladies and Gentlemen William is not lying! I live here now and have been for almost 2 months. Where should I begin? The leasing agents---------------------------- are horrible! The two -------------------------- are worst and corporate level management is just as bad. I have tried to email and call them on numerous occassions only to go NO response. The garbage dumps goes for months without being emptied while we have to pay for trash, Maintenance takes forever to respond to request (that's if they ever come), people are constantly double parked even though management swears you will be towed. The gates hardly ever work and there have been numerous burglaries in the complex. Management has not sent out 1 notice to make the residents aware of anything. The place is run horribly and as a current tenant I;m ready to start a petition because I refuse to pay $1000 per month to be treated like I live in a DUMP!

Please start a petition. I am sure that 99.9% of the community will support you. Now they have the nerve to focus on the new "luxury" apartments they've built behind the current community. PLEASE!!! Every time I go in to the leasing office I see other victims getting suckered in. Sure the leasing agents are nice at first, but after you are locked in they pretty much see you as a nuisance. It's a shame that they can't hire competent people to staff this community and even more sad that the management company does not care enough to do an overhaul to ensure tenant safety and comfort.

After reading all the other comments left by past and present residents I strongly agree that management, corporate, and Wesley Kensington apartment homes are ------. I don't even bother to call about issues in my apartment because nobody comes anyway. My garbage disposal hasn't worked for a month, heat doesn't really work that well so I have to turn my oven on and leave the door open, I'm scared to park my car in the parking lot because my vehicle has been hit not once but twice by non-driving neighbors, and locking and unlocking my door is a task. I think that a petition is very necessary maybe management will get their ---- together.
