PLEASE avoid renting here!! Anyway, I just relocated to the Atlanta area from Houston; I had corporate housing in Dunwoody before moving this way(really wish I would have just sucked it up and paid hella' rent there opposed to the affordable price here). I have not even been here a month and I'm about ready to break my lease or use their 30 day guarantee (they claim they have) and move elsewhere. I have encountered what everyone has stated in their reviews and then some! They quoted a rent amt, came in to sign the lease and the rent amt changed''' Brought in a deposit, deposit accepted, additional deposit possibly required; moved in on the 13th of last month, never received my mailbox keys until I requested them only to find out that a walk-through was required at the time I moved in(which was not done when I moved in)to obtain my keys; asked for a walk-through that day, only to find out that you have to schedule a walk-through, so no keys on that day...anytime I wanted to check my mail I had to give them my ID to check my mail, until they were able to come out, which was a wk later. Next day, a notice was on my door for additional deposit( day before rent is due) and rent is not accepted unless deposit is paid. With the short notice given, I requested to pay at a later date and signed a promissory note to ensure that the funds would be paid so that my rent would be accepted, it was approved. Today, I get home and another notice is on my door requesting for the deposit (where it was approved to be received at a later date) and rent is also past due and they have not accepted my payment(which I will probably have to go in tomorrow and act a fool, in which I don't like doing). So, this sums it up...they don't know how to manage and run a place of business, there is unorganization and obviously they don't keep up with their books. I have rented apartments for the past 4yrs and I have never encountered so much unorganization and stress and I think it's time that I buy!! The apartment itself is great, I love it. Sometimes the neighbors play loud music but I can deal with that. I feel it's a safe environment. The staff...now that's another story...you make that judgement!! Dude, listen to your friend (if you have not already) and stay away! I would not recommend this spot to my enemies!!
