I read the reviews before I moved in and thought about not taking an apartment there but felt very comfortable with the new management staff who were very professional and very nice. The apartments I viewed were nicely maintenanced for their age and the grounds and pool looked great. My husband and I decided to lease the apartment,the rent was very reasonable and we loved the location. We've been living here over eight months without any issues. We did call the office to fix our garbage disposal and check the AC once and they came right away, so that worked out just fine. The gates do not work but the manager told us in the beginning that they did not work and that the previous owner had installed an inferior gate system that was designed for residential use and not for a rental community. So we don't expect them to work and did not rent there because it was "supposed" to be gated. Gates are usually broken anyways even when they "work."
