Only, living in Northwood Apartment Homes for a year (thank God!), the staff their has taught me a lot. Don't trust renters, who are at the time very eager to "take" your business. Also, read all the fine print. My wife and I moved in when we were married not quite a year ago. The rent was paid on time and were loyal tenants. Upon giving our 30 day notice and paying the last months rent of our year lease, we were informed that they required a 60 day notice. Apparently, a few other tenants were shocked by this for they were told upon moving in to give a 30 day notice. Come on, my lease is up! You got 12 months of rent on time along with a 30 day notice and now I'm told if I don't pay all this money, they will sue me. Like clockwork, my air conditioning goes out every month. The comodes stay backed up, the carpet is so embarrassing and so is the enviroment. I went to vacuum my truck at the Northwoods bootleg carwash and was amazed at the amount of people standing outside drinking 40 oz. malt liqour beers. The 4 vacant apartments in our building have been that way all year. I'm not done with these crooks. Hey, how about a name change' Let's change it from NORTHWOOD to NORTH-HOOD.
