My wife and I thoroughly discussed a SIX MONTH LEASE and explained we would be moving in SIX MONTHS. Now, one month after we left (SIX MONTHS LATER), we get a bill stating we had signed a one year contract. When we spoke to the management we received this very, very professional reply: "Well even though we filled out the paperwork on accident, it is your problem for not catching it". How about, "We're so sorry for the misunderstanding. We'd be happy to take care of that for you!", instead. Any other business would do the same wouldn't they' I understand apartments have to cover their backsides because of some of the residents...but this is absolutely amazing. So now they tell us that the apartment is now filled, but only after a week of being empty. So they tell us that we are "lucky the apartment filled and you only owe $145 instead of paying the monthly rent". WE are the lucky ones' Another prime example of the utter incompetance when it comes to management at this complex.
If you can avoid moving here....DO IT. We only moved temporarily because we were forced into it. What horrible service....for all you kids in school reading this, here is why you want to go to college! You don't want to end up with a GED working jobs like this management and giving horrible service.
And I second the previous post about all the dog feces EVERYWHERE. Nothing says "Welcome Home" to your apartment like dog crap everywhere. Literally right outside my front door!

Okay you are a frigging idiot if you signed a one year contract and expected someone to go back on it. that's YOUR responsibility. People like you are why no one these days will take responsibility for their actions. Would you sign a contract to buy a car thinking it was one price and then try to pay another? It's a similar situation. You have to READ before you SIGN and it doesn't take a COLLEGE DEGREE to figure that one out.
