This is the most horrible place I have ever lived in?? When initially moving into the tri level townhouse in july of 2005,. I was immediately impressed with the 2,000 sq feet , 3 bedrooms, den w/wetbar, 2 full and 2 half bathrooms. Immediately upon move in, new carpet was placed through out the entire townhouse..As soon as I was handed my my keys, the next door neighbors informed me that the previous owners had an issue with mold throughout the living room, in remedy, the complex painted over it instead of removing it. Previous tenants moved because of the mold and the way in which it was handled. In addition, racks were missing from my oven, so maintenance brought me dirty ones from a vacant apartment, so i gave those back. Nextly, the garbage disposal did not work, after they fixed it, upon first usage, since the bottom was not secured, it came off, splattering its contents all under the cabinets. Then my air conditioning unit went out, next the fridge stopped working, neither could be fixed and was replaced. Next, the heating unit stopped working. The walk-in level toilet flooded and leaked onto the carpet in the den below. Toilet was unclogged and the ceiling was never repaired. Next the toilet in the master bedroom over flowed, down into the living room, the plaster came off the walls. This still has not been repaired. All flooding due to low pressue. I have taken pictures and seeking legal advice??Autumn chase management pointed blame to me saying I use too much toilet tisuue.when I use the bathroom. I have had continuous hassles regarding my dog, paying the $400.00 non-refundable deposit. There are other tenants who own dogs and have not paid their pet deposit, pit bulls included. Stay away from here! The apt. mgr. Stephanie is the mgr from hell! They make up and enforce whatever and whichever rules they want and they have the nerve to ask for a 60-day advance notice to vacate. The lease consists of 32 pages of Lincoln Property nonsense where they do not enforce or back up their part of the legal agreement. Last but not least - the roach problem. They are all in the walls and no amount of pesticidal spray seems to kill them! Keep away from here at all costs. In addition to paying for water usage, that not all tenants pay, and when they renew their lease they still dont have to pay it. Averaging around $74 dollars/ month includes the water, sewage and sanitation you use, as well as the water, sewage and sanitation other tenants use but are not forced to pay. I might add, that I am paying for water that I cannot drink and feel like my health is threatened when bathing it it. The water has a horrendous smell so I purchase my own filtered water in addition to paying for other water use. Lastly. The electric bill. Since its total electric, costing me $174.00 for 1 month because of the poor insulation and I only use the electricity at night when I am there. So it is not used all the time indicating the poor 33year old insulation is affecting my bills.
