The apartments are nice, but the management sucks. I lived there for 3 years and had more than 5 managers. The turn over rate there is incredible. You call and speak to one of the leasing agents, and then call back a week later and she's gone. At one time there was only 3 people working in the office. You would call and the phone would ring and ring. The new manager decided that she wanted to impliment new rules that weren't in the lease. If you had a work van, you were no longer allowed to park it in the parking lot. If you had a second car that isn't driven or moved enough, she would have it towed.
The wine tastings and the pool partys are a joke. We pay for those parties in our rent. For the amount you pay, they should cook you dinner every night.
The property manager is a joke. She has that little man complex. She comes at you with a chip on her shoulder. If you get on her bad side, then you are done.

It's a shame how Aimco has run Belmont Place into the ground since it's total renovation in 2004. Unfortunately you won't have any better luck at any other Aimco property. The management is all the same.
