I have enjoyed my first year living at East Lake enough that I re-signed for a second year here. The grounds are beautiful, the apartment is fantastic and the location is prime. The office staff have been helpful and courteous, and when I called in a maintenance issue, someone was at the door within the hour!
So far I have not had an issue with bugs other than the occasional roach or spider that makes it's way in, but certainly not an infestation of any kind.
There are lots of kids in the community and my neighbors are friendly and quiet. I would recommend this community to anyone.
I have been recently disappointed by the "24 hour" gym now being restricted to office hours only and the padlocks on the tennis courts.
Otherwise, this place is a gem! And yes, the ducks are adorable. :)
