How to review this place. I'm a bit mixed on it, so take it with a grain of salt because what is good for one will not be acceptable for another.

Maintenance:
Awesome, wonderful cant say enough about it. The guys are Great.

Buildings:
They are ging through some construction if you can call it that, they take off some old boards, put some new ones on. Slap some paint around. miss entire sections an forget to put new pieces in afterward. so it kinda looks tie dye "ish" if you inspect closely. If it wasnt so sad, I'd laugh because they got ripped off or forgot to pay the contractor.

Apartment:
I live in a ground floor unit. It's ok, nothing new, not too old. No ceiling fans or amenities to speak of, except it came with a microwave.
not very well insulated, I put plastic on the inside of the windows because the livingroom had a 20 degree difference from any other part of apt. I triedadjusting vents but the wndows were too drafty, so the only solution was plastic-yick!!

CABLE: OH GOD, forget it! they use some no name company that offers only analog basic cable. NO digital, No extended channels, No on demmand, No HDTV, No paid perview, No multiple movie channels. OH- AND No service when it rains hard. And no choice to use a different company. I own a $3000.00 DLP 50" HDTV paperweight.I didnt know there were cable companies out there like this still. when I asked last year they(the property manager Kevin) said they had a 5 yr contract they just signed and it was out of their hands. When I asked before giving notice this year, they said their lease was up and were in negotiations with Comcast but even with the threat of moving out they wouldnt give a time frame as to when that switch was gonna happen. Personally I believed what I was told a year ago, that they signed a 5 yr contract. -bye bye

Office Staff:
HMM, if you appreciate a warm smile, evasive answers, inflexablility, lies and shoulder shrugs, then this is your paradise.

Rent:
Was reasonable when I moved in. 1st renewal 25.00 increase, 2nd renewal 25.00 increase(i fought it down after an hour fight with the manager in the office to 10.00), 3rd renewal 25.00(uhm, I dont think I wanna fight it this time) I had neighbors say they jumped theirs up even higher at renewal.

I lived as far away from the pool area as you can, but I know it had got so bad that they had to hire a cop(he looked 80) to enforce the peace over there, not that age matters, but what could he really do-chuckle. I never once swam in it, so I wont comment. But I believe the previous report about the cops being called out. there are always unsavoury types hanging out in that parking lot.

So if you dont swim, dont talk to the office much, dont need cable, and expect your rent to jump 75.00-100.00 in 3 yrs - this is the place for you. I will say I had great neighbors for the time they stayed.

now of course this is all my opinion :)

I feel exactly the same way...and the pool closes at 8...which punishes the good tenants who don't get home until 7 or so. It closes that early because of the hoodlums...bummer.
