East Lake was WONDERFUL for living there. Great apartments, unique, awesome lake, great landscaping, decent amenities. However, all of these negative comments about the management/staff are very true. They seemingly intentionally keep you uniformed so that when you move out you owe them extra money when you move out--no matter how good of a resident you were (paying rent on time, keeping things clean, no complaints). The lease agreement that you sign is VERY vague about what has to be done when you move out--make sure to ask for an "inspection checklist" because they purposefully do not give them to you. And anything--I mean ANYTHING that is even slightly wrong with your apartment when you get it, write it down.
