I lived here for 3 years and the complex was nice at first however it quickly went down hill after Katrina and never seemed to recover. There is lots of traffic at all hours and high crime. While I was there there was a home invasion several burglaries and I personally know 3 peoples whose cars were broken into. They management also has had a turn over rateso getting a phone call returned can be difficult at times. Also watch out when you move out vecause they will try and stick it to you I got a 700 bill for carpet that was over 5 years old and I got off easy I found several people who had much higher move out bills. My suggestion to you would be to FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE

Wow. I agree with all the Katrina bashing, but the Katrina rats mucked up the whole city, not just The Falls. And these move out bills are your own fault. You are given the chance to inspect and write up everything you find before you move in. If you don't get everything, then you loose when move out comes. You need proof and that original inspection is key. And don't EVER return keys without the post inspection. It's your legal right to have it done in your presence on you last day of occupancy. And you had better take pictures of any place you rent, just in case.
