I lived at The Falls from 2007 - 2009. Not a very dog-friendly place simply because there is maybe one dog area and its tiny, I d like to see you try to train your dog to go in that ONE patch of grass. Also the trail is beaten down and not at all taken care of. I also complained to the management several times about teenagers hanging out in the path while smoking UP, but they never did anything about it, so I simply stopped walking on the trail one less amenity! I also found a leak in the bathroom sink, maintenance fixed it the next day but a few days later the wood inside the cabinet began to smell like mildew, so the maintenance crew came over and painted the inside of the wood ..to cover up the smell I assume''!! Way to fix a prob. I definitely agree with the move-out inspection of the apartment issue. I called several times and they insisted they were too busy to set up an appt with me to inspect the apartment. They did inspect the apartment 4 weeks after the move out date and claimed that the apt smelled like wet dog. Duh'! I never had any problems with bugs inside the apartment; although I cooked a looooot I guess its all about how well you clean up afterwards. As for crime I did receive a lot of letters from management warning females that a rape had just occurred, that's all I ever heard about it. But people understand that you will get what you paid for, after all these apts are very very affordable!

I think it's dog friendly. I have 2 dogs that love to walk the grounds and people seem to like them. The tennis court by the amenities center is a common place for off-leash play time. We even had a little meeting there where the staff gave us treats and toys for our dogs. But I wouldn't go there while the sun is beating down on the pavement. I've seen several dogs with pad injuries because the ground is too hot.
