We ended up moving out after the second flood. My best advice to anyone renting an apartment would to be document everything, and take pictures, and lots of them, even if you think they are irrelevant. This is your best protection, because the landlords will do everything they can to keep your money. In our case, the apartment manager was very understanding, and cooperative with us. She expressed that she hated seeing this happen to us, twice in a week. She did the right thing by letting us out of our lease, and refunding all of our money. For that part I would recomend, but on the actuall apartments no. You see, when we picked up our check we where told that yet another pipe busted in this same apartment we where in. This time it was where our bed was in the master bedroom. I cant even imagine what would have happened, had scalding hot water started comming from the ceiling, and we where asleep.
