(sigh) where to begin... let's start with the good... if you want anything done, ask jan to do it or call corporate... that's the only thing that will work...

this was my husband and i's first apartment together and we were ready to move out within a week. when we moved in, we pointed out some things that needed to be fixed, including a leak under the kitchen faucet. within a week, our ac was out... not the freon needing to be charged but our entire unit was broken and had to be replaced. during this same time, that leak under the sink that they never fixed turned into a flood in my kitchen.. the ceiling of our neighbors below us caved in. we asked for another unit but we were denied...

some of the continuous problems... our toilets sound like mount rushmore whenever we flush and if you don't scrub it within a week, there's a gross film in it. then there's the management that somehow changes everytime i go in the office. oh, and how about the shady leasing agents' when we moved in, we put our dog on the lease but our lazy leasing agent told us not to worry about the pet fee. 9 months later we get a notice in our door about how they "found out" about our dogs. umm... found out' we put her name on the lease!!! so then we had to pay $700 in pet fees before the month was out.

and then i thought my AC problems were over but nope... as soon as the heat hit atlanta, my AC was out... oh but as soon as the cold hit atlanta my heat was broken too!!!

now lets talk about neighbors... they let just anyone move in... i live next to a dope boy (have no problem with him though) and he lives next to crazy lesbians, one of which stabbed some man living with them and their children only to have one of the chased down by cops a month later! then there's the man that died in his apartment across the way from me and noone knew...

finally, let's talk security, or should i say flashlight cops... they allow anyone into the complex and don't do anything to stop them when the gates are broken but they harrass my husband as he's walking back from the gym... they leave their children in the gym to watch tv and go swimming...

the gardens of east hell... don't move here!
