Man what was I thinking' The Gardens is one of those complexes where you get caught up in the surroundings ... the buildings, trees, etc.

When I moved in, I was assured all the things that needed to be fixed would be ... I am still waiting. My bathroom door looks like someone nailed a piece of plywood to it and painted it white (the nails are very visible). There are sorry patch jobs through-out and oh my God the roaches! There are like 4 different varieties but they tell you not to use the store bought spray.

There is supposed to be a laundry room but there are no appliances in there yet. You have to pay extra to use the fitness facility, and I promise you that since I moved in 6 months ago, I have had to have my air conditioner looked at 6 times and my electric bill was thru the roof. And oh my God, there is a small kiddie pool thats a mosquio haven. I was told it was going to be fixed and instead it sat fixed with the most horrible green water and the mosquitos were literally taking over. We thought they were going to fix it but instead the filled in the jacuzzi and left the pool as it was. Its a terrible eye-sore, they should fill it in as well.

The only good thing about that whole complex is Jan. If she said she will take care of it then she will. The Gardens care NOTHING about their tenants. At least the gate works ... for now.
