I lived at Highland Parc - spelled backwards CRAP. Allow me to summarize. On move in day, I pulled my truck through what initially looked like a party in the parking lot. Turns out, it was 2 groups... or gangs fighting. They had their pit-bulls and rottweilers in full effect and politely stopped punching and kicking long enough for me to get through. Every day I lived there there were people hanging out in the parking lot all night, being loud, and once even shooting each other with paintball guns. Then, one day I drove home from work, only to see the S.W.A.T. team breaking up a drug and prostitution ring going on in an apartment near mine. I highly recommend bringing your small children here to learn how to cope with dangerous dogs, crime, and loitering. Complex has genius plan to turn off water twice a month for repair to pipes...hope they give you notice...I never got any. Gates worked for a total of 15 days the entire 6 months I lived there. Not exactly a safe feeling. 6 fights outside my apartment alone that I remember, many cars vandalized, I had brilliant plan to not wash my car as to not draw attention to it. Living in downtown Inglewood would be a step up from this place. Heavy smell of marijuana is an everyday aroma...nice. I do not recommend this apartment.
