Good, until renewal time

After 6 months no problems, then I went to renew my lease. While working up the papers they added $100 to my rent, then told me If i didn't want to pay it I would be charged $100 per month for every month of my previous lease for not giving 60 days notice. And to pay for just the 60 days notice period so I could move with no penalty''' $749 per month each month. Thats for a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment! They will rip you off first chance they get. And yes, Alfred really is an Idiot!!!!!
