How is this place still here!'

We moved in this complex in September. At first, when we were taking a tour, it was great. They showed us what our apartment would look like, they showed us a remodeled one and also around the community. Things need to be spotless for me. They re-assured me that it would be fine, they'd fix it up nice and we would have a place to call home. Upon paying the security deposit and first months rent, I asked to look at our place. Apparently we couldn't because they wern't done fixing it up. Fair enough. 2 days before we were supposed to move in I asked to see it and then they took me to the apartment. It looked great, however now I know this was just there version of the "honeymoon" stage. When we first moved in our apartment was flooded because the fridge wasn't hooked up properly... so they have maintenance men for what' And as we're laying in bed getting ready to go to work the next day there are people right outside of our complex that are trying to purchase drugs and such and "wilin' out." Within the next few months, our neighbors have a child that screams at all hours of the night, how frickin annoying! Also, some black guy in his souped up Avalance is banging to "I'm so Hood" at 7 o'clock in the morning on sunday. We can't take showers here separately because we NEVER have enough hot water, which we have complained about and was never fixed. (If you have this problem, wal mart has a water saver shower head that saves 2.5 gallons a minute) The shower is peeling everywhere! And the gates that are supposed to keep the community safe, don't work. So we spent $40 on gate cards for no reason, and when I told them I want my money back they said the gates would be fixed within a week. It's been two. I can't tell you what else has happened, it's just a cause for me to get pissed. Just know this: Our place that we are supposed to call home has turned into a run down POS apartment that is getting us by for the time being. We will not be here much longer.

Some "black guy" in his souped up avalanche<---(proper spelling...ha...Needless to say I won't be considering your opinion when making my decision, maybe you should move, last time I checked racism was not an amenity being offered by most complexes

Would you prefer the term afrcan-american (aparment ratings is censoring the correct spelling) male? FYI, the associated press (AP Style) still refers to this demographic as black, AA is a euphemism to the actual term. Anyways, I'm guessing you consider ghetto to be a part of your ethnicity, since you are equating that because he's black he must be ghetto and consider it racist.
ghetto is ghetto, in whatever color it comes.
and no, I'm not the original poster.

I agree - ghetto is ghetto and rude is rude. Anybody regardless of race should not be playing their music that loud at any hour. And you have never spelled anything wrong in your life. I used to live here and some things will never change.

you implying the color of his skin shows how dumb and closed minded you are and if you were suppose to be in the house trying to sleep at seven in the morning how would you know he was black, you shouldn't base that on the type of music because obviously anyone could listen to the song, white, black, asian, or mexican and you just proved that any color can listen to the song because you know the name of the song.

I'm willing to bet these responders didn't bother to read the rest of the review. You read the "some black guy" part and decided this person was racist and thought "I will post something to say such". Ever think that maybe it was a black guy? Probably not. However, the whole point of the review was to say that this complex sucks. I know, as I live there now and I won't be much longer. It's not as easy as just to just move out when you have to pay 2 months rent to break the lease early. Amazing how that works out when you try to think rationally.
