for this property to be off of barrett pkwy its okay. The staff is always friendly except for the hispanic lady that works at the front desk. Its true the gate is always broken, but for the price its the best you'll get in this area. I've never heard gun shots, and even the "ghetto" people that have been excepted as residents there are not all that bad, Of course I would love to move into a house one day soon, but its no point of apartment hopping b/c its all about the same. As long as you build relationships with the staff you will be fine. They are friendly and will try to help you but you have to remember that they are human and nobody wants to get yelled at, don't make their job harder and they will make your life easy. Maintenance is pretty quick to. I was there from 2006-2008 oh and also I ain't go lie since there is currently a "drought" you water, sewer, and trash will run you from about $50-90 extra. I started here in college on the 3rd floor and I was safe, hey if you don't trust it Pray to God, in Jesus Name and keep it moving! :-) You'll be fine if you live here, don't believe the hype or negativity, like I said it is what it is ;-) Peace out and God Bless!

the hispanic lady isn't friendly? we just got an apartment there i thought she was just adorable. she was really nice to us. hope that wasn't just an act...

The hispanic lady is really nice. I am not sure what you are talking about, she is always smiling and always gets my serive request done. In the other hand Tara is very rude and not professional at all. She talks to you like you were a little kid. other than her the staff is really nice.
