I am a current resident and I have lived here for a little over one year. Here is the skinny about this complex (from MY experience):

1. It is quiet.
2. It has a pest problem (roaches).
3. Maintenance is prompt (but don't expect instant service).
4. I have witnessed shady activity before in the complex AND CALLED THE POLICE! They always come within minutes.
5. Lots of children in the complex but they are harmless.
6. Gates have always worked since I have been here.
7. No screens on the windows are a little scary.
8. Apartment is not wired properly (or old/bad wiring) for internet/cable.
9. I have never met Ms. Batson or witnessed spectacular customer service from folks in the office. At the same time I have never had any issues that warranted me visiting the office other than paying my rent.
10. Trash doesn't get too piled up (I live near the dumpsters)
11. Grounds people keep the complex pretty neat.

For the area and the price I think the complex is fine. Other comments on the site have been extremely negative or positive and I just couldn't totally believe their assessments. I won't be renewing my lease because I am hoping to find something a little better. If I could give you any piece of advice I would say go and check the place out for your self.
