Plantaion Ridge apartments is very poorly managed. When we moved in April of 2000, we moved into an apartment that had been abused by the previous tenants. We were assured by the management that all of our concerns about the apartment would be solved in 2 weeks time. These problems were not resolved in 2 weeks time but in 3 months after filing over 29 maintence request and finally writing a demand letter to the management. They do not communicate with the residents of their complex in any effecient manner. Notices that leases are about the expire are destributed to the residents by placing them on the door of the tenants. Renewal contracts are also distributed this way. A person can very easily never recieve any communications from management by the lax distrubution methods. One last thing is that the neighborhood is kind of run down. Parties run in all times of the night and drug use is very rampent among some of the tenants.
