When I first moved into plantation ridge it was great! Seemed very quiet, apartment wasn't great, but my situation at the time was desparate, and beggers can't be choosers can they!

Well, I spent 3 years there and I have never been so greatfull to move! There was the one NASTY trash been for more than 400 apartments. Not to mention a tub that never drained, despite numerous maintenance repairs, a carpet that never seemed clean, and roaches. Maintenance was ok, but never seemed truly capable of completely fixing a problem. The paint job was awful, and the doors to my little laundry area repeatedly rusted. Unless you page the maintenance staff directly, nothing will get repaired. DO NOT leave a message with the office staff regarding needed maintenance,THE REPAIR WILL NEVER GET DONE IF YOU DO! Now let's talk about loud, noisy, fouled mouthed neighbors, rolling through the comlex at 2am with their car radios so loud that the walls to my apartment vibrated. The office staff was ok, except for one person, who was exceedingly rude.

And now, although I provided them with a letter stating my intent to move, and although the rude person from the office called me at work to confirm that I was moving, they are STILL trying to get more money out of me. They are claiming that they never received the letter I HANDED DIRECTLY TO A MEMBER OF THEIR OFFICE STAFF!

To sum up, although the rents are very reasonable, DON'T DO IT, YOU'LL EVENTUALLY REGRET YOUR DECISION.
