Major Apartment Fire

On Wednesday 12/13/06 there was a major apartment fire that destroyed an entire building of units. There was no warning for the other residents and we only found out because we happened to be watching TV at the time. The building alarms did not go off and there was a significant risk to the other buildings and residents.
While the county fire department and the Red Cross responded quickly, the owners of the property have not yet responded with any kind of public statement regarding the safety of the remaining units. You must have renters insurance to live here and now I know why. This place is a death trap. I'll be breaking my lease and moving shortly...
If nothing else but to escape the thumping bass from the gangsters that patrol the neighborhood late at night. My pet was almost bit by one of the feral cats that roam the neighborhood as well. The last thing I need is for my dog to get rabies or worse!
