From the day I moved in I knew it would be hell.... The apartment looked like maintnence hadn't even looked at it in two years not alone repaired anything after the previous tenents moved out. Of course they took notes about the problems but nobody ever came to fix anything. The roaches are huge enough to be paying their share of rent. The tubs never drained, all the faucets leaked...and when they finally answered my "emergency" maintenence request, the guy came in and broke my sink. I had no cold water in my kitchen for TWO MONTHS!!! I had to practically stalk the manager to get it fixed. Like I said, you would have to be crazy.
