Where to begin, we first moved in in October, 2005. In September, 2006 there was a fire in our building. We were immediately placed into another apartment because we did not want to stay in a hotel. Well, this so called apartment had no plumbing in the shower, the appliances in the kitchen were not hooked up. The door had been kicked open so the lock had to be replaced several times. This all was eventually fixed throughout several months of service calls to the office.

Now about the office, customer service is something that has totally passed them by. A course in professionalism or even personality would be huge asset. Their newest brilliant idea is to remove the payment drop box outside of the office, due to vandalism I might add. So now, you have to find time to catch someone in the office, which by the way doesn't happen frequently, in order to pay your rent. Oh an by the way, their hours are coincidentally the same that everyone else works, therefore making it impossible to get your rent to them. Just another example of the intelligence running the community.

On a further note, I live in a building close to the office and have noticed that the employees are the main culprits of the loud bass playing and social gatherings in the parking lot.

This is not exactly the ideal community for children either.

Please do yourself a favor and pick another community until the Equity Apartments gets their heads out of their butts and cleans up this community and hires competent people.

Well I have a cousin living there now and he has plumbing issues as well. His water heater has a bad leak and the bathroom sink floods the floors.. His thermostat does not work properly, (so you know his electric bill is high) He has a 1 bedroom apartment and have not been satisfied since he moved in (AUGUST 2006)....He is now being charged 200 dollars more on his rent because he withheld his rent until repairs were made. (this issue is happening as we speak)

Wow! And I was about to consider moving there from a neighboring apartment complex that isn't good at all too! Guess I'll look on and reconsider home ownership!
