i currently live in plantation ridge, sadly enough. i have been here for 3 years. i am moving in december. if you want ghetto living at its finest then by all means live here. the office staff is impossible to get ahold of and they dont return phone calls, the maintanence staff never fixes anything the first or second or tenth time, if they fix it at all. my a/c has been out for a week and no one will tell me why or really do anything to expedite the process of fixing it. we have experienced 3 floodings, on the last one they let us move to a different unit. we have also experienced 2 fires in the complex, one of those was across the hall from us after the neighbors plugged in a new dryer (did not turn it on, just plugged in) and sparks came out of the outlet and caught the wall on fire. none of our plugs will actually stay in the outlets, my hair dryer has caused the circuits to overload on numerous occasions. our stove in our first unit was a fire hazard at best. our stove in our current unit will most of the time work, but not all. the noise level is unbelievable! we have had to call the police at least once a week for noise coming from our neighbors (who have to be elephants), people outside in their cars with the base level so loud it makes our walls vibrate, power tools being used at 2:30 in the morning, my car was broken into with the intent to be stolen right before christmas one year. the dumpster is overflowing at least once a week, to the point of trash bags being in the driveway. random gunshots in the night, neighbors smoking crack in the parking lot, children running around unattended and being destructive, dogs running around loose...these are just some of the few problems with this apartement complex. oh! there is a huge roach problem!!! roaches of all sizes will inhabit your unit all the time!!!
