I moved in over the summer and admittedly, it wasn't exactly what I had expected. My place was no where near ready and I was extremely unhappy. However, I found that the staff in the office and the maintenance people really did have an interest in making it right and have been slowly but surely working on correcting everything to my satisfaction. It's been a very hot summer in Atlanta and the maintenance crew has been swamped with emergency AC repairs - that should always take more importance over fixing a door knob, so I understand that my place wasn't 100% at move in, but it's coming along.

The office staff can be difficult to reach, but if you try them a couple times, you can usually find someone and they are always cheerful and as helpful as possible. Angela and Mandi are very nice and do their best to help answer questions or resolve issues.

I have not heard any of the major noise complaints that other posters have mentioned. There is the occasional loud car radio as it drives by, but it's usually during hours where most people aren't sleeping. I haven't had any noise problems and find that for the most part, it is very quiet in the community.

The layout of the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is phenomenal. I was surprised that I liked it better than the townhouse layout. I have never seen a layout this nice, given what we pay every month. I love the separate laundry room, I love the sun porch, I love the breakfast nook and I love the formal dining room.

We had some minor bug problems, but hey, there was a drought this summer, it's bound to happen. The complex has a list you can get on every week and the Orkin man will come and spray if you want (no cost to you). He's been here a couple times, plus the bug traps we placed around and have had very few insect problems. I've found that if you keep your place clean and have a few insect traps, it really seems to eliminate any problems.

The grounds of the complex are very pretty. There are tons of trees and plants - very well maintained. There is only one garbage area for the entire community but it's emptied fairly often - sure it can overflow once in a while, but that will happen in any complex.

I would recommend Plantation Ridge to potential residents.

drug bags found on the ground the kids are not a problem its bad management here people shooting etc. yes they have a roach problem, mold problem and drug related shootings will accure ever so often. it seemed to be a nice place to live if you don't have to please take my advise look somewhere else. no one has bothered me my concerns are if i only been here a month and they already shooting and im finding drug bags people who live here and don't live here hanging in the parking lot it seems like it will only get worser i wish i would have done more research then i would be out of less money. I only been here a month thank you jesus i can move without a problem. Remember management goes home and sleep very well they can give 2 f*ucks about your complaints!
