GOOD DAY, & LET ME FIRST SAY I WONT MENTION TO OTHERS 2 NOT MOVE HERE, AS EACH ADULT WILL INDEED MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS AS TO WAT IS RITE FOR THAT PARTICULAR FAMILY. WHAT I CAN DO IS TELL OF MY INDVIDUAL XPERIENCE AS A TENANT HERE AT "PR"! FIRST OF I'VE ONLY BEEN LIVING HERE FOR A FEW MONTHS BUT WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN I SAW SIGNS THAT MAYBE IT WAS A GOOD MULTI-CULTURAL EVNVIRONMENT & ALSO COUPLE OF THE LEASING CONSULTANTS THEMSELVES & FAMILY LIVED ON THE PREMISES. SO I WAS TAKEN BECUZ IT IS VERY RARE THAT U FIND THAT PPL LIVE WHERE THEY WORK. FIGURED IT MUST BE A GR8 PLACE TO LIVE INDEED! IT ALL CHANGED ALL TOOOO SOON!!!! FOR ME IT RANGED FROM A WIDE AND I DO MEAN WIDE VARIETY ON MAINTENANCE ISSUES TO HIGH UTILITY BILLS! THE COMPLEX IS THE ONLY ONE WITHIN THE RADIUS THAT BILLS FOR WATER, ALL OTHER COMPLEXES HAVE STANDARD RATES RANGING FROM $50-$55. WHICH WOULD BE A BARGIN IF IT WAS SO AT "PR"...(I KNO OF THESE CHARGES BECUZ I'M ACTIVELY LOOKING INTO OTHER APTS IN THE VICINITY)...THE MAINTENANCE IS SLOW TO RESPOND & THE OFFICE STAFF IS NOT VERY QUICK TO TAKE YOUR CALLS UNLESS THEY HAVE GOTTEN WORD FROM CORPORATE THAT SUM TENANT HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT THEM! THEN U GET A SPUR OF NICENESS FROM WITHIN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT!! I WANNA SAY TO ALL THOSE THAT LEFT NEGATIVE COMMENTS BUT STILL PROCEEDED TO RE-NEW YOUR LEASES, REMEMBER THIS: YOUR HOME IS SUPPOSE TO BE YOUR PLACE OF REST & PEACE! YOUR HUMBLE ABODE, A PLACE TO RAISE FAMILY AND CREATE MEMORIES, SO I SAY; IF SOMETHING IS INTERFERING WITH THESE GOALS TO DO SUCH, THEN NOTHING & I DO MEAN N-O-T-H-I-N-G WILL MAKE U COMPROMISE THOSE DREAMS FOR YOU & YOURS! (OR AT LEAST NOT WHERE AS MY FAMILY IS CONCERNED)! ON ANOTHER NOTE, THE OUTDOORS TO YOUR APT IS VERY FILTHY, & THERE IS A LARGE INSECT PROBLEM THAT PLAGUES THESE OLD APARTMENTS. YOU ARE NOT A TENANT HERE, BUT BETTER YET THE LEASING CONSULTANTS & MANAGERS MEANS TO A LIVING. THERE IS DEFENITELY GOSSIP AMONGST STAFF ABOUT TENANTS, & BICKERING AMONGST MAINTENANCE ABOUT WHO SHOULD FIX WHAT BECUZ THE OTHER IS READY TO CLOCK OUT! THE ONLY GOOD & RESOLVING MAINTENANCE WORKER IS "DAVID"....HE IS VERY DEDICATED & UNDER-APPRECIATED! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT TO ANY ONE BUT I DO REALIZE IN THE END IT WILL BE UP TO EACH INDIVIDUAL TO MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICES, I JUST HOPE MY OPINION WILL BE CONSIDERED IN DOING SO! I AM NOT JUST ANOTHER VOICE LEAVING A BLOG, I AM A TENANT OF THIS "PLANTATION RIDGE APARTMENTS"!

Wow! It's crazy how I'm seeing so many negative ratings but the leasing consultants say that noone is complaining. What can we do?

Maybe if you cleaned your apartment up, took your trash out and turned down that ------ music it would be a better place to live. Learn to spell you stupid -----!

Correct Anonymous dated 5/8/08..First of all an apartment should not be considered "home" to anyone unless you are not making a living for yourself. When people think of home they think of a house, condo, etc...Something that they own. When you own your own stuff..then you can speak on what you would like. Secondly I have lived here for two years and have yet to have any type of problem or concern. Like people always say...if you want to complain about this and that concerning PR find somewhere else to stay, pay more money for an apartment that you want to be your home in the long-run. For anyone who reads this post I do recommend PR to anyone. The office staff have been very friendly to me personally and no I do not work at PR.
