Life is a balance. There is good and there is bad. My thing with people is when things do not go their way everything in their path is bad. When you talk say both. Yes PR have it's bad spurts. However, there is good. Angela, Kendra, and Mandie are always there to help. Even when I went to the office with my own complaints I've gotten results. One thing that I have learned is this: don't rant and rave about things if you can't come up with a solution. There is no togetherness within the community. That's the problem. Every time PR tries to have a function the residents never show up. They pass by without a 2nd glance at their neighbors. Stop feeding into negativity so much. The rooms here are very spacious. The closets and bathrooms are big. The rent is a good price for the space. Nearby apartments aren't even as cheap as PR is. Trust me. I've searched. PR isn't Buckingham Palace. If it was we wouldn't want to pay that hefty price. My point to you all is life is what you make it. You don't like something then get rid of it. Otherwise, be quiet and go on about your business. The staff is incompetent and most of the residents grill near the buildings, even when there was a fire in 2006. Real idiots that cannot even help themselves. Drug deals and Boom cars, unsupervised children vandalizing cars and maintenence staff that march right into your unit unannounced.

There is no contributing to the good of a place like this. I made the mistake of moving in and if I didn't care so much about the marks it would leave on my credit I would certainly have broken my lease. Sounds like you were paid to put up good reviews for this horrible complex. That or you are one of those vandals or obnoxious children.

If you had a good experience, more power to you. However, the fact that you refer to the place as "PR" and mention many employee names indicates that you are one of these employees or a close friend or relative. So there is little credibility built into your "review". I put quotes there as your posting is less a review of the property as it is a review of other reviews. At "PR", I was locked out of my mailbox for a week; it took three work orders and eventually becoming forceful to get my own mail. I think there are federal law issues there?!? Besides, as any ECON 101 student can tell you: When a business does a poor job, it is not the consumer's place to be "the solution". Check the BBB rating for Equity Residential. You will find that is not just PR (LOL) but Equity Residential that has poor customer service. For the most part, the staff I encountered were kind, but either stupid or lazy. Perhaps it wasn't their faults; perhaps they are not paid well enough.
