OK--I guess

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999
When I walked into the office and sat down with the person, I was immediately told which apartment they thought I could afford. I was a little shocked, but understood their income guidelines.
People walk their dogs where they are not allowed and leave the droppings where they land. The parking is crowded and my car was hit twice by people who just left.
I was on the bottom floor built into a hill. The upstairs neighbor's cat used my patio to help it get in and out of its apartment. I didn't feel safe in my little corner because it was hidden from view. People walked around my porch area all the time. The whole area was very unsafe because the Atlanta city limits were across the street--I didn't go out after dark. People would put chain letters on the windshields of cars!
Watching the hurricane that hit Windy Hill Road was exciting. I stood on my porch and watched the trees blowing around, but didn't get any breeze because of how my apartment was built into the hill.
The winter road maintenance is non-existent. There is a little hill you have to drive down to get to the main road and, during one ice storm, there was no way to stop my car from sliding directly into the street except by hitting the curb.
The office accepts packages, but you can only retrieve them when they are open, which isn't in the evenings.
When I had to break my lease because I got a job out of state, their attitude was "too bad." I had to pay until the expiration of my lease anyway with no other option. Then they told me they could sublease it and make me and the new tenant pay!
