I recently graduated from VCU in richmond, and I remember reading these saying, "everyone is different and people normally react when they are angry. Not when they are problem free." Well, Needless to say, PLEASE TAKE THESE SERIOUSLY!! I have never be so disappointed in regards to customers service and satisfaction. My first complaint was in regards to maintainance walking into my home, never leaving notes, and leaving my door unlocked (at 8am in the morning, while I am asleep in the bedroom). I am a single woman. The only reason I knew this happened is because I had an out of town guest that was on my couch sleeping. He said maintainace woke him up asking him what was wrong with the water. Of course, he had no idea what he was talking about. So maintainance just walked out of my house and left us to wake up later that day to find out that the door was left unlock. To make matters worse, I had to call every week to have them send pest control to my apartment because roaches would come into my apartment. To top that off, I had to call the cops on an employee of the leasing office. I terminated my lease early due to the fact that I had recently purchased a home. When I came to pay the fees and turn in my keys, they informd me that i had to pay in money order (which was completely understandable considering the fact that it was $1368). I arrived back to the office at 440pm and the office was to close at 5:00. the women in the office decided to lock the door and watch me through the window, while i am knocking on the door. I told my friend to move my car as if i left and they unlocked the door only to find me standing there infront of the door waiting. the employee begins to tell me that the office is closed and i will be charged extra days. words were exchanged and I called the cops. the cops assured me that i would not be penalized and to report this apartment complext to the better business bureau as well as many other agencies. This is truly one time I wish I would have truly taken the advise of those before me.
