I went to River Heights earlier this week to look at apartments. I took my 4 year old daughter with me. It was raining and when we went out to get in the golf cart, the Leasing Agent, Chantelle made no attempt to clean off the seat (her side was dry by the way). So, I sat down in the cart and had a soaking wet rearend for the rest of the visit. I looked at some apartments and was interested in this complex primarily because it fed into Sope Creek Elementary. On my first visit, Chantelle made no attempt to show me to any of the facilities like the workout room or pools, etc. I decided to go back today (Sunday) for a second look so that I could decide on which floor plan I would choose and to see the facilities that I didn't get shown the first time around. I took a friend and my two year old and four year old. I walked in and asked to see two floor plans and the facilities. Chantelle told me that she couldn't show me the facilities as she was the only on there. You could tell that she was very put out by the fact that I came back a second time. The golf cart was not at the leasing office so she called someone from the staff who was at home to bring her the golf cart. While we were waiting, we walked to the floor plan that was close to the leasing office. She sprinted ahead of us to the floor plan not trying to make any kind of small talk or to assist in actually making me want to move to this complex. She just acted put out. When we left that model, her co-worker brought up the golf cart. My friend and I got on the back each with a child in our lap. Chantelle took off like a bat out of hell and was whipping around corners to the point that we were about to fall off the back. I asked her to please slow done as it was hard to hold on with two small children on our laps. She was then a total ----- and continued at the same speed. At this point, I told her that if she threw one of us off the back of the cart, I would own the complex when it was all over. I told her to take us back to the complex and I wanted the manager's name and number. She turned a 180 and practically threw us off the back of the cart. When we got to the rental office, I went inside to get my ID back and to get the manager's name. She stated that she was going the same speed as she was the first time we came to visit and I explained to her that it was a different situation because we were sitting in the front seat with her on the first visit. I told her to look up centrifigual force and she would understand what was happening to us on the back of the cart. She looked dumbfounded by such a large word. She told me that she couldn't take me around to the facilities as she was the only person there and she has appointments. I told her if she was that stressed out by being the only person there on Sunday that she should probably talk with her manager as she is driving off prospective residents.

If you are looking for a great apartment with outstanding staff..... look at Walton Falls or other Walton Communities. These people are a class act and I must be crazy to leave such a great apartment complex looking for an E. Cobb school district!
