Having lived at the River for five years, I have enjoyed many things about living here. It only takes me 20 minutes to get to work. Our apartment is huge and for the most part, it's quiet.

However, the office staff situation has gone from okay to tolerable to horrible over the span of five years. As others have commented, if you call to make a maintenance request, it is often ignored. The staff itself changes on an almost weekly basis so nobody knows what's going on most of the time.

As for packages, if it's in the office, they may or may not be able to find it if you go in to pick it up.

My biggest problem thus far has been ants. This year I had them coming from all corners of the apartment, including my bathroom showerhead. It took me a week to get the ants out of the shower. I had to constantly call and plead for someone to come out.

My advice is this. If you do choose to live at the River, and it is a nice place most of the time, just keep in mind that you will have to literally park yourself in the office to get help. They won't give it unless they can't avoid it.
