I've been here for MANY years. I've seen owners come and go. But without a doubt, the absolute WORST owners are the current ones (the Rockledge owners -- CSC RIVERS ATLANTA, LLLP). Their one single care is making the complex LOOK like it's upscale. To this end, they're spending a ton of money on cosmetic changes to the complex, all at the expense of its tenants.

There have been no positive changes for the tenants. In fact, all changes have been negative. Much higher prices, without actually fixing anything INSIDE the apartments. Rat-infested walls, leaking roofs, poor insulation, caulking and mold nightmares, old and dilapidated heating and cooling systems on the verge of breakdown or worse. They remodeled the front office -- but now it's only open to prospective tenants. Current tenants have to drive to another complex just to pay rent or discuss any issues. Not only that, but the office is now closed on weekends and open severely limited hours other times.

Add to this that, at their new prices, they've been losing renters galore and have been mostly unable to rent out to any new tenants (I've seen people moving to POST apartments for a DROP in rent), and it spells certain doom to the complex's finances.

As far as I can tell, they're in a push to spruce up the look of the place so they can sell it to new owners for a profit, as they'll NEVER see a profit from their current hemorrhaging of money. And any tenants who get in the way of their changes' Well... they just don't care. Close a parking lot for three months' Who cares' Leave nails around and pop tenants' tires from the constant construction' Who cares' Make the apartments unlivable with chemical smells and port-o-potties outside' Who cares.

Basically, if you want to live somewhere nice, this is very much NOT it.
