I have lived in this community for 12 years and am moving now due to a job. However, if I hadn't gotten a job out of state, I would have moved anyway. Over the years, the grounds and buildings have been allowed to fall into disrepair. They painted the exterior of the buildings about 5 years ago and it needs it again...badly! Although the maintenance crew is responsive (items fixed within 24 hours) and they are friendly, the materials used in the repairs are usually not of excellent quality.
The parking situation is getting worse. I live next to the office and have to park away from my apt. during the day because the office staff is parking there instead. At night, I have to park elsewhere because there are too many cars for the # of residents.
The office staff when I first arrived was warm and friendly. Not so anymore. Management has changed 4 times during this period. With each change, the office staff has gone further downhill. The most recent change was the apartments being sold to a new company. Although there are 1 or 2 friendly people in this group, they don't work on the weekend and don't generally interact with the public (not the first faces you see).
I like my apartment for size an convenience. The location of the complex is very accessible to major thoroughfares. But, the complex itself leaves something to be desired, especially since they are getting ready to raise rent.
