Taking Up 2 Parking Spots

When someone pays $800 a month for rent for an apartment where a heater/AC doesn't work, your refrigerator is leaking and your windows are broken, you expect to have decent customer service coming from the owners.

Residents have now have to put up with weeks of maintenance men coming in our apartments and taking up rows of parking spots, forcing residents to park even further into areas that are not well lit.

There is a yellow car with black stripes that have taken up 2 parking spots for the past 5 days. There are a number of issues with this.

- After talking with a rep from Greystar Management, they suggested that the person was moving.
- When I asked her, "Wouldn't it be a deliberate act if you have parked in 2 parking spots for 4 days straight'" She avoided answering my question.

PROBLEM: If nothing happens, like that green non-working car that was an eyesore that was taking up a parking spot for 6 months, Greystar is telling residents, its okay to show a lack of respect to other residents living there. Its just like they don't fix the gate months after its been broken a number of times.

To Potential Residents - If you would like to be disrespected as a paying customer on a contract, go ahead and move in. However, if you would like a quality-made apartment at a fair price, look elsewhere. I know I am.

That's so true. They treat us like second-rate people even though we're paying their salaries!

I'm the leasing agent who took your call about the car. First,I asked you if it looked like they were moving (out of fairness), and after we established they didn't appear to be moving,we issued a warning ticket to that car the very next day when I could talk to the manager about it. I emailed you the that day and told you that the car would be towed within that week if it wasn't parked properly. Please don't leave out vital parts of the story! We really care about our residents and their happiness here!
