Rented from 2/1/06 to 2/1/07
Ground floor, 1 bedroom
paid $685/month, but I hear my place is being raised to the $750's
Pros
-Perfectly safe & quiet area
- Clean & well-maintained... awesome pool/tennis ct's
- Good maintenance response (usually had problems fixed in 24 hours)
- 30 second walk to the chattahooche park, great for jogging
- Staff is great... always very friendly and helpful
Cons
- Expect a few Roaches (I had 4 in 12 months... not that bad for a ground-floor apt. next to the woods.)
- It's an old place...old sinks, cabinets, bathtubs, etc...had to report lots of problems
- Poor A/C. My highest power bill was $51.00 in July (on a Ground floor)
- Careful walking down to the Chattahooche Park. It's a very steep, unfinished trail - I sprained my ankle trying to jog down it... twice. I wish they'd finish it!

They are raising the rent due to cosmetic improvements to the outsides of buildings... I live in River Park, also see River Pointe reviews (all three are managed by the same company). I thought it was funny to find this review the same day, sounding similar to mine, except with a positive spin... I did NOT recommend River Park due to incompetent management... And the bugs and the old fixtures and A/C units and the fact that you have to drive to the park anyway...
