It's very nice. No problem with bugs, noise or kids. It depends on your neighbor though, sometimes you can hear their tv thru the walls, or other "things" going on at night, and if your neighbor smokes you can smell it, but what apt. can you live without hearing anything. But overall, it's quite. I'm a full time student and am home most of the week and it's very peacful. The parking is great and you barely see your neighbors, even in the summer. The layout is cool too. There are only 7 other apts. connected to mine, the others are less, like 4 units total. But they are looking for new management, and there was talk about being turned into condos like the apt. up the street. So I don't know what will happen with the propety in the future, so if you move in, just don't plan to stay forever!
