This place is not safe just as the last reviewer stated! A man was shot and Killed in DAY TIME! Where Children play outside! Management hired security for two days after the shooting, WOW!!! A resident was also robbed at the mailbox!!! There is also gang active in and around these apartments! People ride through the parking lot playing loud music all times of the day and night! If that is not enough to make you want to look somewhere else I don't know what else to say!

When I first moved in I thought this was a nice place to live but, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy now!! The apartments are nice to the eye but structurally they are cheap and poorly built! The Management is horrible both the ladies in the office were so nice when I signed my lease!!! After that they don't want to deal with you anymore, so when you have problems your on your own! Their attitude is downright deplorable. Instead of appreciating a loyal tenant, they treat you like trash. The only good thing I can say is the maintenance guys are great! Overall this place is not safe and it s not worth the money they want!! You also have to pay $25 to workout in the apartment GYM!!! I though that was an amenity!!! So take your money some where else!!!! You will be very disappointed trust me! Have funny with the spiders, ants, and roaches if you do lease at RIVER STONE, Oh yeah remember to watch your back and where a bullet proof vest at all times!!

You better get your facts straight. Also, crime can happen anywhere at anytime! Even the best single family subdivisions are not immune to crime. If you are so high and mighty, why don't YOU live in one of these high and might subdivisions??? And you call yourself LOYAL??? Then why bash them? The crime that happened is horrible and a man lost his life. Has ANYONE thought of him and his family??? Instead you are all being SELFISH and trying to find something to whine about. Obviuously, it is my EDUCATED opinion that this property is and has been a safe place to live. If you lived in a house, and crime happened next door to you...Would you call your mortgage company and WHINE...I have to move...poor me...!!! This is city living and I feel safe here. Get off of your selfish highorse and get a grip!!

The facts are straight people have been killed. This is what really matters. Lets not talk about other family subdivisions and there crimes lets speak facts; this is 899Riverstone at Powers Ferry. This doesn???t sound like a tenant because you speak about loyalty. Furthermore this isn???t the family of the victim and most importantly this person that responded doesn???t have infants nor kids because they don???t believe that having gates and security would benefit this community. Then you say u have an educated opinion; why complain when kids and general tenants are at a high risk? This doesn???t sound like a mother, a father, a student, a grandparent, a teacher or hard worker. This sounds like a person that is only satisfied with the apartment ratings and content with misleading people to endanger their lives so they can keep a job. Honesty is everything. Don???t tell me that this happens anywhere! Is that the same information that you gave the victim's family? If you won???t respect then give it. If that was your relative or child would you not whine or complain? It???s funny what people will say when they are not sitting in the driver???s seat. Are you a person that???s been down this road? Do you understand the pain and hurt this has caused a family and a community? Understand selfish; loyal, crime happens anywhere, whining, educated opinion, safe place, and this is the city. This explains to me that you???re invincible! What poor excuse could you give a person, a tenant, or family. Have some pride and integrity. Where are your morals and ethics? I won???t you or your invisible family to speak on loyalty, tenants, and kids safety. We need gates and security! We pay our funds to live here! I have my facts straight I am shelling out well over a $1000 per month to live in a community where people are shot in the daytime right outside my apartment, and where my children play at!!!! If I wanted a house I would buy one, however; I chose to live in River Stone because, I though it was nice!! However; everything that glitters is not gold!!! Why in the hell would I be loyal to an apartment community that does not care about their tenants all River Stone cares about is MONEY!!! I care about my neighbors and fellow human beings that???s why I took the time out to write this review!! I know for a fact that someone from the leasing office wrote that response, at least try and disguise yourself you idiot! There is no way a tenant wrote that ignorant response!! Why did they respond because they feel threatened, that my review will cause people to look somewhere else to live! You only get offended when it's the truth! Yes there is crime everywhere, but crime can be prevented if River stone took some of there profit and put it towards a gate and security!!! Oh, I forgot you all will have to go up on the rent for that RIGHT!! Further more I be not be renewing my lease at River stone I will be taking my money where it is appreciated, and I can feel safe walking my dog and letting my children out to play! It???s appalling to see the level that River stone Management will stoop to just to get a buck!!! Any apartment that cares will take safety measures to insure that a crime of this nature is prevented next time, what has River stone done???? Hired a guard for two days after the murder took place!!! Yeah I really feel safe now! Also, how would you like to get robbed in your own community!!! Then have Management tell you that crime happens everywhere!!! WTF People choose to live in River stone, because it???s an option but, trust me a lot of people will be choosing other options!! People want and need to feel secure!!! If I wanted to hear crime happens everywhere after being robbed, I could live in the HOOD for a lot less money! That???s why I pay more money to feel safe and avoid calamities like this! However, when you live somewhere, and the management could care less things will only get worst! That???s why I am leaving! Please seriously think before moving into this place the Management is down right scandalous!!!!

Well, I have lived here for a couple of years. I can say, that I have lived in NY, Boston, and LA. This is nothing compared. Its a sad situation what happened, but if you live in any city, it happens. Plane and simple. While living in NY I had a place with gates, oh, what joy that was, they were broke about 75% of the time, cars stolen, dont kid your self about gates. They dont ward of crime in the lease bit. Hey, I have a gym key, and its 100% refundable. You failed to mention that part. I would rather pay that than $700 a year for a gym membership. The office staff are cool, and so are the mainetanance guys. I think you may be just be a bit rough on them, I am just trying to see the other side of it all, think about them, and what they too have to deal with. I know my job downtown "aint" all peached and cream, but man, seriouly give em a break. If you feel that highly about crime you better run out to Washington state or something and never go outside. better not go to grocery store, mall-shooting happen there all the time, dont drive your car! you never know what could happen, dude, seriously, it could be worse, and its not. Its a damn descent place to live and i dig it here aokey. My .02.
