Overall a good place.

I have lived here with my husband for two years.
It is a relatively safe apartment complex, white collar, middle class, early 20s to early 40s renters, very pet-friendly and located near a lot of convenient areas. The prices are reasonable for semi-large apartments. The grounds are kept clean. This was the only affordable place we could find in the perimeter area that would allow three cats. That is a major plus! The parking lots are not as safe as others. Shrubs and trees often block sight, but cautious drivers need not fear. Lighting is minimal, more for taste than for safety. This area also has many ------ tenants. The apartments are spacious. They have pest control every Friday. The office keeps everyone updated when anyone needs to come into the apartment for upkeep.
Management is bad. When selling us a place, the leasing agent was nice, professional and always willing to work around our schedule. She worked really hard to get us a place we wanted (2bdrm/2ba/frpl/snrm/1300sqft). The day our lease agreement was finalized, her attitude did a 180-degree turn. She became sour, rude and behaved as if we were always crunching into her schedule. The day we were scheduled to pick up our keys and do the walk-through, she seemed so put out I was worried she would not hand them over. I had to convince her to go over and do the last walk-through. The maintenance requests she jotted down as we were walking through were never given to the office.
Over the course of the last year, I have had problems with another leasing agent. A maintenance man visited our apartment twice when a non-tenant placed a call. I visited the office and complained each time, asking that requests for a visit by this woman not be honored because she did not live here. The leasing agent refused to do anything about it and told me I not to worry about it.
The "security" gates have always been broken. Theyve tried to fix them once or twice, but never got them to work.
Overall, this is a decent place if you dont have to deal with the office.
