I was fine until a year or so ago when the tenants I have 2 doors down moved in. They are heavy smokers with a small child and a hideous dog ( I don't think it's ever bathed). The little girl is always screaming and if she isn't screaming she's crying. I doubt she goes to school she must be 4 or 5 years old. The tenants are mother and daughter and I have yet to see the daughter work, the mother works all kinds of hours and jobs I assume at a resturant because of her clothing.

In conversation with other neighbors I understand that the daughter drinks and there has been an occassional hint of marijuana coming from the windows (that's an allegation I have never smelled it)

I have heard the daughter using inappropriate threats towards the daughter and as usual the little girl was crying violently.

I try not to judge people, but this is the type of element that should be warned and then removed for such inability to respect their neighbors and the property.

If you didn't, you should have called Animal Control to help the dog and Human Services for the crying child. I had a neighbor who was kicking his dog and I called the police. They took the beagle away from that loser and found the dog a good home. I hope you didn't just stand there and gossip about it. Jesus, do something!
