I am SO glad I found this place. (the website, not the apartment complex)I will admit that my family and I were seriously looking for a cheaper place to live to try and get ahead on some bills, and save ahead for a house next year. We looked at three of the models and they looked "ok" enough for the year that we were wanting it for. I remember saying that the downfalls were that they had no storage areas, and the kitchens were so very small. BUT, again, I thought we could make do to save over 4,000 a year just from rent alone. I was not impressed with the outside areas. They looked run down, but it had potential and I thought maybe the complex was just short on maintenience staff. The club house seemed to have a weird smell to it, and one the three different occasions that I came to the property to see a different model the staff seemed ok - not too friendly but not overly rude. The one thing that really got me thinking was that we were not going to be able to see the ACTUAL apartment that we would be renting until a few days before moving in. When I asked if it didn't meet our liking would we still have to take it. His comment was "you do not have to take it but you will lose all the money you put down". Then he said "I mean if the roof is caving in then yes we'd refund your money, but if there are stains on the carpet or the walls are knicked then, NO".
This scared me because I like to see what I am getting before hand. If they were proud of their complex then they should comply with your needs. Even through this, I still thought about signing a lease. I thought "It can't be that bad". WELL, the place where I am leasing right now is great! I really have no problems with it. The place is well kept, great school district, and a great staff (minus one - but everyone ignores her anyway). I have come to know the marketing director of this complex and I told her that I was looking to move just to save money, etc... Without knowing where I was looking she told me about this website. I AM FOREVER THANKFUL!!! After reading all the horrible things about this place, I can not let my boys live here! Everything that I encountered on those 3 visits to Signature Place was talked about by others who have actually lived there! We had a change of heart and decided to stay where we are. We are in the process of resigning our lease for another year. It is so worth the extra money to live somewhere clean, gated, and safe!
Come try out Rosepark and ask for BETH! Maintenance is great, the property is clean and well kept. The pools are great! (The kiddie pool is the cutiest thing --with a waterfall) You will not be sorry!!! I am so glad I was told about this website!

I agree with everything you said! I'm also in RosePark and Beth is a dream!! I've had problems with Ms. Harriett though.. is she the minus 1 you are talking about?
