Thinking about it

After reading the comments on apartment ratings.com I have found out that alot of people lie and the others have done something that the apartments didn't like and got put out so that's why they rate these apartments as no. I really am considering these apartments. In the near future I would like to buy me a house. I am relocating from Columbus, Georgia and so far this is the best space for the price and you are so close to Atlanta. My visit was nice and the apartments are huge. I am not from Columbus, Georgia either and I have lived in what you would call a bad apartment complex. Its what you make out of a place. Everyone will have different opinions and different situations. If you like Signatures Place go and live there because that's where we are going to live. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

write back after you've lived there for awhile, just curious to see what your opinion will be after you ACTUALLY LIVE IN THE PLACE YOU ARE REVIEWING!!!

I'm sitting here laughing! I was going to say the same as princessleia! I was a resident of Signature Place for 4 years. No, I did not get evicted. I left because the place was "alright" when I moved in, but had completely turned into a slum by the time I left. I couldn't take it anymore! I won't go into all the problems with it, since everyone else has, but between the lack of maintenance and the thugs, etc. they rent to - the place was hell! I spent every summer there sweating in the heat because the air conditioner never worked. They told me they had replaced it while I was at work. Guess what? When it broke down again two weeks later, the contract repair guy told me it was the same old unit he'd worked on a year earlier and they'd only patched it again! As if that wasn't enough, they tried to lie and say I'd damaged the apartment and I owed them money! Since I had a witness, though, they had to drop the claim! I would NOT suggest anyone move there. I am an honest renter and have had spotless records with the two places I've lived since. I'm leary of apartments now and scrutinize carefully - thanks to Signature Place. To "Anonymous" - I personally think you must work for SP. But if you don't, and you've moved there, please update us with your experience. We're eager to hear. lol |

I agree Tondy, obviously this person works for SigPlace and the wordings are out of order in the paragraph. I also am a former tenant, I could not take it anymore, from foul smells, ants and rodents. Personally, as I know you are reading this management staff of SP You are a bunch of unprofessional, slimey workers who are all for the money, I say if you become complacent with your work, you are never driven to do better! By the way are you from Columbus GA or NOT!?

WOW!!! I have read this and laughing as well Tondy. I lived in the apartment for all of 3 months. Yes...3 months. Those were the worst 3 months of my life. My family of three did not get evicted or cause any problems. We broke the contract and left the apartment, in a hurry, I add. This was back in 2004 and I don't think Signature Place is any better. Good Luck to you Columbus and I will leave you with this quote:
The best way to convince a fool that he is wrong is to let him have his own way.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I feel sorry for the Signature Place staff...Kharma is REAL!!! ....The main thing one should take from it is, that when one comes to the realization that life effects life, compassion is the only true recourse. If one knows that one's actions cause an imbalance or pain, and those actions, in return, come full circle and affect one's own happiness, then one also find oneself more careful in both word and deed.

I am cracking up as I read these reviews... I lived in Sig. Place for 4 yrs a few years back. When I first moved in I was in love (I had the town house loft apt), but shortly there after I regretted my decision. My electric bill was a min of $150 even though I was rarely home & unplugged everything when I traveled. The best thing that I did while I was there was to make friends with the maintenance staff who told me that they wouldnt stay there even though they would get a HUGE discount. Lets not even talk about the drug addicts/crooks that worked in the office. I was told that I hadnt paid rent in over 3 mths (which was a complete lie - if you've lived there you know if your even 1 day late with your rent you receive a late notice along with a late fee - I received NOTHING the entire time). When I had the copies of my postal money orders traced, it was discovered that they were deposited into another account that S.P. had which know one knew about (including the drug addict mgr). The person posting the rent opened another account and stole tenants payments. Needless to say of course she skipped town before everything was exposed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND S.P. to ANYONE.... The space is great but the headaches later on are far from worth it.
