I used to live in the 300 building and with any large complex, there are bound to be some disgruntled residents. I believe that those residents who actively complain are probably the same trouble makers who can't afford to pay the rent. The main drawback is that the area, overall, is attracting more and more RENTERS! The entire strips of Powers Ferry rd and Terrell Mill road is comprised of people who are trying to escape inner city life "inside the perimeter." Signature Place is convenient to shopping, entertainment, public transit and I75/I285/GA400. Remember that review boards rarely get positive reviews. Those who provide negative feedback often have a bone to pick because they probably didn't get their entire deposit back. If you don't like it, please take your complaints and move back inside the perimeter!

You lived there during the same years I did. If you thought it was "great", you probably moved from another slum or a trailer park. I moved there from a nice house in Marietta, not from the city. So I was used to a decent living environment. This place was only "okay" when I moved in during 1999. But it quickly got worse. And no, the people they rent to are not the norm. They are too often of a criminal element or just plain nasty. They do no background checks. They only want the money. We've noted that when a poster attacks all the honest posters as "troublemakers", they usually turn out to be members of the staff. I had never before or since, lived in an apartment complex as bad as Signature Place. I do not recommend it - unless you don't mind living in a rundown apartment complex.

Welcome to 2008. Signature Place is not the only complex with people trying to leave the inner city. Because of the housing market ALL apartment complexes are gettting more renter's. So come up with something better than that SIGNATURE PLACE MANAGEMENT!!! This place is just disgusting! I moved to another apartment complex and have not seen one roach. Now i can live with seeing a spider or other types of bugs every once in a while, but living with roaches every day of my lease was HELL!! I can't believe this apartment complex is still open for business. When I lived here I was told the exterminator could spray my apartment every week as long as I signed up. Sooo I signed up every week! Did the roaches start to die?? Hell NO! If anything they made babies. During the day it wasn't so bad, but at night it was like a roach fiesta! Management thinks these apartments are so great, but I bet she wouldn't have here kids living in this dump! You wouldn't recommend this place to your family or anyone you know! Please stop trying to convince yourself!

the person who took time to defend such a joke for a management team and apt complex could only be trying to save a job.maybe you should stop takeing time to post bs and do your job pestcontrol,makeing sure maintenence does the repair jobs properly etc. and normal management jobs in a day no one has had a good expience renting at sp in 20 years or more I promise.all the bad things you read about is true take time to stop in and ask some of the current nieghbors about the bugs,damage,crime check your local hall of records for lawsuits current and prior,and the better business office if you want the real info on this dump also contact your local bar assc and no your rights to recover,stolen,damaged,items and compensation rights for your trouble and all around inconvienence.

I was never part of the management team. I was a resident who didn't think it was all that bad of a place. I just want everyone to take the complaints with a grain of salt. Hundreds upon hundreds of residents live there at any given time and statistically speaking, few people complain. If you live on the ground floor, you will have MORE roaches. If you live next to the wooded area, you will have MORE roaches. If you live in the south, you will have MORE roaches. The problem lies with the residents who have too lofty expectations for a minimal price. You get what you pay for. Buy some Raid Roach killer and roll with the punches. SP is a great value. Some acting as if you are ENTITLED to live at the Ritz-Carlton or Trump Tower.

This poster is definitely apart of the office team. No one living in this apt complex would EVER think that this place is even close to mediocre...It is indeed the absolutely worst living you can find in Marietta.

Sandy...is that you?!?!? LOL...DEL Development Corp needs to stop playing on the computer and come up with a solid plan to exterminate those FLYING ROACHES! Moving out of Signature Place Aparments was the best thing that happened to me in '07!

I moved in in August 2008, and while there were roaches to begin with, they DID deal with them. Once in a great while, I find a roach or two, but they are always dead. This is one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in, and I've lived in a lot of places, in a lot of different states. Management has been really responsive to my needs, and maintenance always asks me if I'm satisfied with their work before I leave. I've never had to ask them to do something over or better or anything. And, every time I've had to call maintenance, they've been out within 24 hours. As for the statement that they only rent to renters, I have to say, DUH! It's a RENTAL place- they will only get renters.

Ok. the post from "happyinmarietta" is BOGUS!! It is clearly someone from the office staff and I have a pretty good idea who it is (either gabby or monique). This place is a DUMP! DO NOT BE FOOLED!! Every negative comment on here is absolutely true.
