i read all the reviews on here about this apartment and many others in the area and i'll tell you one thing i've learned. this website is crap! there are sooo many bad reviews on all the apartments its not funny. its like nothing in my area is good so i'll tell you my opinion of my apartment. i have a 2 bed 2 bath. i do admit that they are old but its nothing that good interior decorating doesn't solve. and bugs well everyone has bugs in georgia, if you watch want you do you don't have such a problem. the units by the leasing office are nice and in my opinion the best place to rent in any complex as there is less likely to be as many problems being so close to management watch. i though the staff was very friendly and they answered all my questions. i requested to see my unit even before i put in my application and i actually got to choose which unit i liked more. the appliances are on the older side but hey they're not mine so it doesn't bother me. they work great! i did my walk throughs and noted all the problems, which were very few and my concerns were handled. they even resurfaced all my counters before i moved in. i love the spiral staircase and i love my apartment. i'm close to atlanta and shopping! my best advice is to see it for yourself. usually on a site like this you do tend to get more bad reports then good because people with good experience don't normally write reviews while people with bad want other people to share their pain. go in talk to the people in the leasing office ask to see the unit you will be getting and evaluate it for yourself!

I have to disagree with you. I am a former resident. For the first three years, things were "okay". The only main problems I had were bugs and my constantly broken air conditioner (which they kept lying about fixing). Re bugs: No - you're not going to have bugs everywhere you go in Georgia. I've been in my current apartment for 2 years now and haven't seen a single roach. They simply aren't infested. (At least not my building so far). Roaches are most attracted to water. And old, ill-maintained plumbing is the worst culprit. My apartments are only 5 years old. I've shared my horrendous experiences with the complex in general because people deserve the right to know what they're getting into, not just because I want to "share my pain". I have no motive to do that. I left that dump back in 2000. If they hadn't tried to screw me over when I left, I wouldn't have been so motivated to let others know. Warnings are often valid. Now, it's possible you're having such a glorious experience with the old dive because you're an attractive man/woman who knows how to schmooze and get your way with people. "Everybody ain't able". lol (And you don't mind living in an old, rundown apartment complex. Good luck with that.)

well also you said you left in 2000 that's nine years ago. Alot can happen in nine years. I'm sorry you had a bad time but not everbody will. Being attractive has nothing to do with it. You just have to know how to handle to situation. That being said and the fact you left nine years ago why are you so adimate that no one live here. Can't you believe it might have been something. Back then and may be different now? I bet most the same people don't even still live there anymore or work there. I am truely sorry you had a bad experience and I hope your having a better one now but I think your holding a grudge on the past. People and places can change over time. Everyone needs to make their own choices without people attacking their opinions or decsions.

Mam, sometimes people feel the need to voice their opinions based on actual fact. I agree that Mr. Anonymous seems a little ADAMANT about voicing his opinion from nine years ago. It seems a little vindictive, I suppose, but have you read the reviews? I'm amazed that they span back that far. I think this guy just wants to warn others using his experience... especially since he can see that the same types of things (and even worse) have been happening all this time, and are still happening! I live here now, and have recently posted on this site. I will keep up with this for the simple reason that I care about my quality of life, as well as others. My particular apartment is extremely nasty, and I'm sure that it can't be the only one. My apartment is absolutely unfit to live in. I seriously hope I don't catch any diseases from living here. I would have a field day with DEL Management if that happens. Unfortunately lawyers cost too much, and the Health Department can only do so much, so I'm kinda stuck here until the bitter end (not long to go!). I guess you are one of the lucky few to get one of the only decent apartments left in this establishment. Either that, or your name -----------------, and you work in the leasing office. The "good interior decorating" that is practiced by the maintenance (who are of-course directed by the management) is to paint the cabinetry black, to cover up previous water damage, etc. In our apartment, they used this method on every cabinet in our kitchen. In the glass / plate cabinets, they even painted over the layer of matting that the previous tenants left behind. This "lazy" take on maintenance permeates the entirety of all the that Signature Place entails. What kind of sense does this make?? The above example is extremely minor, in comparison with what I have experienced in the year that I've been here, but I'll save that for another post. God, I can't wait to get out next month!!
