Cheap, But Definitely Not Worth It

I lived here for two years, and have nothing good to say. The complex is in a bad area. Until recently it was overpriced for what you got. They basically had to drop the price to get people to move in. Of course, the people who now live there are even more marginal than the ones who were there before. It's going to be gangland in a few more months if this keeps up.

The entire staff usually changes every 2-3 months, so they bascially don't care what you think of them because they know they won't be there in a few months. If you want something done, maintenance-wise, and you will because everything breaks, you'll have to tell them at least 2 times, and probably three. And then once they "fix" something, you'll have to tell them to redo it two or three more times, because nothing ever gets fixed the first time. And when I moved out they lost my files, so they tried to bill me for time I was not actually living there, as well as a pet fee for a pet I never owned. Only the threat of legal action and the presentation of the documentation that I had saved clued them in that it was their incompetence that made me look like a deadbeat.

The complex is finally gated, which I guess might help crime. My apartment was broken into while I lived there, as well as many others. If it's not nailed down, it's getting stolen. And if you're a single female living there, I hope you like getting leered at by all sorts of degenerate guys. There's constant noise, either from free-roaming grubby children (unsupervised, of course), or from the neighbors upstairs listening to rap at all hours of the night. And then there's the occasional party that spills out into the dark, cramped parking lots. If you're lucky, you'll get to watch a big fight break out like I did one evening.

If you're on a budget, make sure you look around. Atlanta has a lot of good deals, and this isn't one of them.
