BY ALL MEANS AVOID THIS PLACE!

I moved here April of 2004, I believe they've gone through four or five maintenance managers. After mooving in, I had to repair the ground wire on the 220 AC receptical for my dryer connection. I had just purchased a new Maytag washer and dryer and they tried to tell me the dryer was bad. Then everytime my AC would kick in the air was hot and eventually started to get cool but only after running for 20-30 minutes. Again, the maintenance people were no help, I finally traced it down, and found that the main heater core (YES I said heater core) for the HVAC was ON all the time. I finally disconnected the voltage to it so my AC would work properly. However my first electrical bill was $266.
They knew my HVAC was bad and stated that the heat exchanger would be replaced, so I waited, and I waited and I waited. Then finally on Oct. 22 the maintenace guy left me a stick note and said I was due for a new heat exchanger (Duh!) Finally at the END of November they replaced the exchanger, and were kind enough to leave the paper backing from the duct tape stuck in the exchanger. So the first time I turned on the exchanger it made some really cool noises. Again, I had to do their work and remove the paper from the heat exchanger fan. Good thing I did, because if it would have gotten sucked into the exchanger it would have caught on fire.
And here's the latest, I've complained to them several times about my kitchen sink not draining properly. To make a long story short, right in the middle of cooking Christmas dinner, my kitchen sink backs up. So Christmas morning I'm sitting on the kitchen floor taking the plumbing apart and got it temporarily fixed. Then it clogs up the next day, and I've been without a kitchen sink and water in the kitchen from Christmas day to today, January 4. Oh, and I forgot to mention, that when the maintenance people came in, they let my $250 bird fly out the door. When I confronted them the basically acted like it was my problem.
Yep, what a great place to live.......
I feel really sorry for people who can't afford to move out of this place. I'll be moving shortly!
